PHOTOS: Memphis Depay joins Manchester United team-mates for pre-season training

Memphis Depay joined his Manchester United team-mates for the first time since his £25million move from PSV.

The 21-year-old was the only new face present at Carrington on Monday as Louis van Gaal's squad returned to training ahead of their pre-season tour to America.


Depay was pictured wearing the No 26 shirt and should he take that number then United fans will be hoping he does better than his predecessors.

The shirt was previously worn by Shinji Kagawa, who returned to Dortmund last season after struggling to fulfil his potential at Old Trafford.

Before Kagawa, flops Gabriel Obertan and Manucho wore the number with little success.

United will travel to the USA for their pre-season tour which will include games against Club America in Seattle, San Jose Earthquakes in San Francisco, Barcelona in California and Paris Saint-Germain in Chicago.
