Obanikoro drags Lagos PDP to court

The former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro has dragged his party; the Peoples Democratic Party (Lagos) to court over the recently conducted Lagos PDP governorship primary.

Obanikoro tagged the governorship primary where Jimi Agbaje emerged the party’s aspirant as a ‘A Sham’.

Senator Obanikoro is seeking an injunction of the Federal High Court in Abuja restraining INEC and Lagos PDP from recognising Jimi Agbaje as the winner of the PDP governorship ticket in Lagos.

The Federal High Court in admitting the suit; has invited both the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) and Lagos PDP to appear before it on December 23, 2014 to come show why Obanikoro’s request should not be granted.
