Manchester City defender Aleksandar Kolarov relish move to Juventus

Manchester City defender Aleksandar Kolarov has revealed he has spoken to Juventus about a possible move to the Serie A club.

City signed Kolarov from Lazio in 2010 but the £19million signing only started 11 Premier League games last season as former manager Roberto Mancini made Gael Clichy his number one choice.

Kolarov believes his situation will not improve under new manager Manuel Pellegrini and he expects to make a decision on his future soon.

“I’m in contact with my agent, and soon we will understand what may happen,” Kolarov told the Manchester Evening News.

“I am happy at City but want to play regularly as I said to Roberto Mancini.

“Money is not everything in life and I have no problem in revising my salary. Simply, I want a place in the starting line-up.”
