ACN, ANPP, CPC, & APGA finally merged to form - All Progressive Congress (APC)
Nigeria’s main opposition parties Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) and All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) have resolved to merge today Wednesday, February 06, 2012 and become the All Progressive Congress
The opposition parties reportedly merge ahead of the 2015 presidential elections to mount a major challenge to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party.
Ten (10) state governors from the different political parties and geo-political zones met on Tuesday in Lagos and endorsed the merger talks by their various political parties.
It's a good step in the right direction, if the merger brings forth credible candidates - 'It's not about the label but the content'!
