Crystal Palace sensation Wilfried Zaha set to undergo medical at Manchester United

Wilfried Zaha is expected to undergo a medical at Manchester United within the next 48 hours after receiving permission from Crystal Palace to speak to the Premier League leaders.

Zaha is considered one of the brightest young players in England, picking up the Football League Young Player of the Year award last season before making his senior England debut in the friendly match against Sweden in November when he came on as a substitute for Raheem Sterling.


United have been the favourites to land the 20-year-old striker for some time and reports suggest he has agreed a five-and-a-half year deal with the Old Trafford outfit, pending a successful outcome to his medical.

However, he will be loaned back to Palace until the end of the season.

It is believed United will £10million up front for Zaha, with the fee set to rise to £15m based on appearances.
