Arsenal's goalkeeping crisis continues ...Fabianski & Szczesny suffers injury setbacks
Arsene Wenger is facing a goalkeeping crisis with news Lukasz Fabianksi could face another three months out with ruptured ankle ligaments.
The Poland goalkeeper was hoping for a recall to the squad after being out since February with shoulder injuries but he damaged his ankle during training on Tuesday.
The latest setback for the 27-year-old means Vito Mannone, who began the season as third choice, will continue in goal with Argentinian Damian Martinez, 20, and James Shea, 21, as back-up.
First choice Wojciech Szczesny is still three weeks short of full recovery from his ankle injury.
The Gunners will be on tenterhooks as they head into a jam-packed run of fixtures heading into winter.
On Saturday’s they face a Barclays Premier League trip to Norwich, followed hotly by Wednesday’s Champions League match against Schalke. There follows a brace of London derbies, home domestic fixtures against Fulham and old foes Tottenham.
