Manchester United signs Vitesse Arnhem defender Alexander Buttner

Manchester United have made a shock £4million signing of defender Alexander Buttner.

United swooped to steal the Vitesse Arnhem full-back from Fulham, QPR and Southampton.

The Dutch ace, 23, said: “This is a dream come true.”

The Vitesse Arnhem defender is quoted as saying on skysports: "If a week ago, you told me that together with Robin van Persie I would be playing at Manchester United, I would have driven you straight to the mad house."
